Spectacular September at the Golf Club at Heather Ridge
Fall may be the best time of year to play golf in Colorado. The sun is still warm, the mornings are crisp and clear, and the golf has an extra sweetness because we know that winter is approaching. If you haven’t had a chance to play Aurora’s newest public golf course here at Heather Ridge then September is the perfect time for us to introduce ourselves. We are offering some great Fall Specials as well!
After some 35 years of being a private club, the golf course was purchased by the Heather Ridge Homeowners last December, and re-opened this spring as a “Public Course with a Country Club Atmosphere”. The attentive staff, excellent course conditions, and the quality of the layout combine to create a unique experience right in the heart of the metro area.
It’s been a great first season as a public course! We have a strong base of season pass golfers, and the response from our new daily players has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have marveled at the challenge that the course provides – Heather Ridge is truly a shot-makers course – and raved about the complexity and quality of the putting greens. Our new cart fleet, expanded merchandise selection, longer tee time intervals, and the addition of our new PGA Professional Mike Ritter are just some of the improvements that we have made this year. Plus we have all kinds of projects that we are working on for the coming seasons.

The bottom line is that we hope you will come play this fall and find out what a tremendous value we provide. Our new “Season Pass” and “Premium Cards” will be unveiled later this month, so check back for more details here on our web site. In the meantime, check out our Golf Specials link, with deals like $29 including cart after 1 pm, and unlimited golf after 5 pm for only $12.
One last note – thanks to all who have played at Heather Ridge this season. Your support has allowed us to weather the always challenging first year as a new business. We are in great shape after year one, and expect 2011 will be even better. So call your friends and bring them out to Aurora’s newest public course, the Golf Club at Heather Ridge.
